We've worked on Lubbock's walk-ins, ice machines, and kitchen equipment since 1994. Joe Johnson learned the trade here from his father-in-law, took over the company when he retired, and holds its Texas contractor license today.

Our Story
Best Refrigeration Services started in Lubbock in 1994 and has stayed a family-owned, commercial-only shop ever since. Every job we take is for a business: restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, bars, schools, and anyone else who keeps product cold for a living.
Most of our work comes from referrals. One restaurant owner tells another. A store manager moves to a new location and calls the number they already have. That is how a small company lasts 30 years in one town.
Every truck is set up for commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment, so the tech who shows up has seen your unit before. We're an authorized dealer for Arco Air and Trenton, and we're approved for warranty work by nearly every major commercial refrigeration manufacturer in the U.S.
Joe Johnson owns and runs the company today. His father-in-law owned Best Refrigeration before him and trained him on the job, the way most good refrigeration techs learn. When his father-in-law retired in 2015, Joe took over. He is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Class A air conditioning and refrigeration contractor. The license number is TACLA00068116R, and you can look it up on the TDLR site any time.
